I've been away for the Independence weekend, and was pleasantly surprised to only have 216 posts waiting for me in my reader. I'm here to say that the only sane thing to do was "mark all as read". It was hard....but somebody has to do it, right?
So if I missed something completely and totally life altering, please shoot me a message telling me to check it out. If not....I'll just be starting from tonight onward. k? For the past week or so, I have also been experiencing some Internet issues regarding adware and spyware slowing down my system to a snail's pace. I am working on this issue, and hope to have it fixed soon. I has made it a real chore to visit and comment on blogs. I'm so sorry if I have been MIA.
As for the Holiday, we had a great three days away....and I'm trying to forget that I took no less than 875 photos in the last week. I'm a bit frustrated with my camera at the moment, as I am experiencing noise in my shots that I believe wasn't there a while back. I am looking into the problem which may or may not be ME! tee hee
I have been sewing.....and can't wait to show you some of the spoils of my labor. Life is good. I am settling into my summer, and Sugar Bear is adjusting as well. The weather is nearly summer like, and I only have six weeks left. eeeeekkkkkkkkk.......
As for the look of my blog....if you like it....GOOD.....if you don't, I'm sorry. Asking for every one's opinions was enough to send a blogger over the edge. NOT because people were inappropriate or rude, because they were definitely NOT. It was the shear fact that everyone has a DIFFERENT opinion, so it became nearly impossible for me to decide what to do. Just when I'd think things looked good someone else would say they didn't like it. eeeekkkkk.....so I went back to my old look with a bit bigger text. I am not sure if it helps or not.....but if the light type bothers your eyes my suggestion is to either highlight my text to read it, or subscribe to my blog in a reader, and read it there. I'm sorry for the hassle, but I am literally at my wits end with trying to find a good solution to my bloggity design issues. I need to just let it go for awhile, or I might explode. tee hee
I do want to thank everyone that has been so supportive of me and my blog endeavours. This blogging thing has been so wonderful me in most every way possible. I have "met" some pretty amazing people, and I do mean YOU! :) Hope everyone is well, and do have a fabulous week. Sugar Bear has her first bout of swimming lessons. We are VERY excited.

I had to do the same thing with my reader and mark everything read. After a couple of weeks away, there was no hope of catching up any other way. It's okay. We're all still here. :-)

Glad you had a good weekend. Let us know how the swimming lessons go. I debated for a while whether or not to sign The Bean up this summer but ultimately decided to wait until next year. It just felt like she needed a little more time.

it was a very uneventful time for me. no need to come over, i'll just sum up for you. ..
1) i got hit by a bus
2) i got amnesia as a result
3) i went on a pilgrimage to india to find who i really am
4) i remembered halfway there and then just decided to come on back home
i think that's about it. i'm not sure.

I couldn't quite bring myself to do the 'all as read' thing - had to at least visit a few friends. It's been a long, hard, fun, frantic and exhausting weekend here too - at some point maybe I'll have enough energy to post about it. ;)
