52 Books in a Year! Help Needed!

Back in September, I made a very simple little choice to start reading books for pleasure again. You can read a bit about that decision HERE. I definately eased into it, and read only two books in that first month. I've been keeping a running list of the the books I've read at the bottom of my blog. I noticed about a month ago, that I was quite possibly going to be able to read 52 books (average of one book a week) before the year is up, and I made it a little goal for myself. As it turns out....I'll be there easily a month before the deadline of 9/14/10. I'm THRILLED. Here is a list of the books I have read this year so far. As you can see......I'm on book 51 right now. I thought it would be fun to ask for reccommendations on my fifty second book! So....let's hear it....What is your favorite book right now? What should I read NEXT?

Blueberry Pickin'!

Jul1710_0062ew

We met some friends up at the blueberry farm the other day. It was our first time officially pickin' blueberries at a farm. Grandma and grandpa have a few bushes, but nothing like this place. WOW! It was so beautiful.

Our friends are fabulous company......and not too shabby to look at, so you know I took a few pictures. Isn't this little honey adorable?

Team-Up Thursday~ Sassy

Berta threw a real whooper of an idea at me this week, and I have to say....I was a bit stumped. SASSY....hmmmm.....what does the word SASSY really, truely mean? It might come as a surprise to you that I didn't actually look up the definition. I know...I know....I'm failing at "being Corey" these days. I just sat back...and waited for something to strike me.

Monday, I was having a little chat with The Hubby, in our livingroom, while Sugar Bear was outside driving around our property in her Jeep. My husband glaced out the window, and started to snicker. I took a look as well, and said outloud, "Oh my she thinks she is SASSY!" Then my mouth dropped open, and I ran for my camera. The SASSY moment had arrived.

Even better, when I showed up outside to take the picture, Sugar Bear said, "nope....shows over!" tee hee......good thing I snapped this shot before she noticed me. What a SASSY girl!

Now Berta's shot......WHOA DOGGY....is that not the most beautiful photo in the whole wide world? Seriously.....I can't stop lookin' at it. What a stunning shot of a sassy woman. LOVE IT! Everything about it is fabulous. Well done Berta!
