Photo Hunters~ Self

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Not too long ago a bloggy friend asked me for a photo of myself in my favorite sunglasses. Being that I am rarely in photos I had to go right home and snap some. As I went about setting up my tripod and camera, Sugar Bear asked me no less than 43 times, "whatcha doin' Mom?" I explained how I was setting up the camera to take some photos of mommy in her sunglasses, and she insisted on being in on the action.

After getting a few quick ones of myself using my handy dandy remote shutter, Sugar could no longer hold her excitement in, and insisted on trying it herself. So I let her have at it.

Then we had a little fun taking some together. We don't do this often enough. She was in charge of pressing the remote shutter, and I set up the shot, so this was a joint effort. :)

Oh, and it isn't a successful photoshoot until you say, "CHEESE!!!!"

Thank you for coming by my blog this week. I am giddy with excitement to see some of YOU! Have a wonderful weekend.

I love the second to last one- the way she is leaning on you says so much about the bond you share.

OMG. These are the Greatest. Photos. Ever.

I'm too bloody vain, but working up to posting something of myself. Anything of myself that doesn't meet my uber-rigid standards of vanity. I worry that Csilla won't even know if I existed. I'm always behind the camera. Thanks for inspiring me to get in front of it.

I marvel at how many pictures that are taken of this generation of kids. I am also usually the one behind the lens. Oh well.

OH MY GOSH!!! I seriously can't decide what is more special or moving, the story or the photos! I guess neither would exist without the other. You and Sugar Bear are beautiful! And you need to frame one of the photos of the two of you. They are just perfect.

okay. lovin' the glasses. and nice werkin-the-camera. you gave it some love.

i couldn't get the thrower to sit on my lap like this unless there was the promise of ice cream on it. and i had better get the ice cream ready while he's making his way to my lap or there will be fits.

there are actually a lot of fits, because i don't give him the ice cream very much.

but it doesn't stop him asking. it's the word he says best.

queen of hearts? big camera freak. i have to promise her *no* ice cream. but i buy her almost any book she wants.

Oh Corey:
As usual these are WAY too cute. Tell Sugar Bear that she takes the BEST photos, just like her mom. And you have new too adorable picture at the top, right? Or have I just been away too long?
