Photo Hunters~What is That?

Camera Critters

When I first saw the theme for the week, I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use. I had randomly taken this shot a few months ago. Hubby laughed at me, and said, "what on earth will you ever use that photo for?" I just shrugged him off, knowing it would come in handy one day. Plus....I just liked it.

So Tell me......what is this?

How about this shot?

May3108_0014ew

Okay....so here it is further away.

June1008_0096ew

Yup....it's my dog's nose. I have always been a tad fascinated with the nose of a dog. So much texture, and always moist. Interesting.

June1008_0095ew

Daisy is a great family dog, and a really good sport about me and my camera.

June1008_0087ew

She is a very loved part of our family.

Thank you for visiting my blog this week. I look forward to seeing all the creative photos this weekend. Happy Photo Hunting.

That is really cool! I guessed that it was a nose, but I didn't know what kind of nose!

Even when you said it was your dog's nose... I had to go back up to the second photo to be sure...LOL Who would have ever thought of that?

Daisy is a beautiful dog. I never would have guessed it either. I thought it was a deflated ball of some kind, like a macro of a basketball. Great choice.

I was completly perplexed with the first picture. But as soon as I saw the second one I knew it was a dog nose! Maybe I look at too many of those every day... LOL! Great macro shots Corey. Your Husband sounds like mine.. LOL.

She looks like such a sweet puppy!

I knew it was a nose...but didn't guess dog! For some reason I was thinking a hippo, and wondered how you got so close to one. I know, I'm a dork. :oP

Very well done... really! Super macro... super, super texture... clean... gosh... who would ever think a pups nose could draw so much interest. She really is a beauty.

The first one just takes my imagination... I want to go in the cave...

Hey, thanks for the sticker... I'll take good care of it :-)

I knew it was a labrador's nose - my family has all had a lot of labs. About nine all up.

Here is the last one:

It never crossed my mind it's a nose. Haha. I was even thinking it could be some kind of a fruit up close.

It's amazing how much texture there is in a dog's nose! Great shots!

At first I thought it was Rhino skin. But I LIKE THIS creature much better!!! Sweet!!!

My photo hunt this week is a sequence of photos as I open a purchase I made at Michael's Crafts shop. Can you guess what they are before I reveal them?

Come by if you can find time!! Have a super weekend.

Those are great photos! i never guessed it was your dog's nose! My dog would never stay still that long to take a picture, he senses the camera and runs!

Very cool! I didn't even do PH this week! Boo on me! I knew it was a dog nose since we have a black lab at home too!

Oh very very clever for the theme! I LOVE how close you managed to get with your macro lens!!

My first thought was some strange berry!

Guess I was wrong!

I am impressed! Those photos are incredible. I've never been very close to a dog's nose to have recognized it. I do prefer it in photo form, lol. I did Photo Hunt, today, too. Come see and share your link with Mr. Linky.

I love Labs! He's such a keeper!! What's his name? You had me fooled for a minute, 'til I saw the full-body shot!

I guessed nose! What a lovely dog.

I guessed nose on the second photo and should have guessed a Lab since I've had my share of them. My last one looked a lot like yours.

Good progression for the theme. Nice shots.

Cool photo! How did you get her to stay still? I also guessed an animal nose but did not know what type of nose.

I like your haircut also! I also have curly hair (although I often blow dry it straight) and do not like change so can relate.

The first photo totally threw me, and I thought it was a close up of a blackberry or something...then by the second photo I knew what it was.

I love dog's noses too. Your Daisy is beautiful and so sweet looking. I love big dogs more than just about any other animal! Thanks for sharing.
