AND
When I first saw the theme for the week, I knew exactly which photo I wanted to use. I had randomly taken this shot a few months ago. Hubby laughed at me, and said, "what on earth will you ever use that photo for?" I just shrugged him off, knowing it would come in handy one day. Plus....I just liked it.
So Tell me......what is this?
How about this shot?
Okay....so here it is further away.
Yup....it's my dog's nose. I have always been a tad fascinated with the nose of a dog. So much texture, and always moist. Interesting.
Daisy is a great family dog, and a really good sport about me and my camera.
She is a very loved part of our family.
Thank you for visiting my blog this week. I look forward to seeing all the creative photos this weekend. Happy Photo Hunting.
50 Live It or Love It:
That is really cool! I guessed that it was a nose, but I didn't know what kind of nose!
I guessed right :P I guess, having a dog at home with it's nose near my face helps! hahahaa..
I was soooooo off...I though boysenberry or blackberry!
That is way cool!
Even when you said it was your dog's nose... I had to go back up to the second photo to be sure...LOL Who would have ever thought of that?
Cool pics! She has a very adorable face. Thanks for sharing!
Daisy is a beautiful dog. I never would have guessed it either. I thought it was a deflated ball of some kind, like a macro of a basketball. Great choice.
I was completly perplexed with the first picture. But as soon as I saw the second one I knew it was a dog nose! Maybe I look at too many of those every day... LOL! Great macro shots Corey. Your Husband sounds like mine.. LOL.
She looks like such a sweet puppy!
I knew it was a nose...but didn't guess dog! For some reason I was thinking a hippo, and wondered how you got so close to one. I know, I'm a dork. :oP
Very well done... really! Super macro... super, super texture... clean... gosh... who would ever think a pups nose could draw so much interest. She really is a beauty.
The first one just takes my imagination... I want to go in the cave...
Hey, thanks for the sticker... I'll take good care of it :-)
wow...that is great macro shot..
Mine in here Thanks
hahahhaha !!!! good one..i was thinking it was kinda fruit or nut!!!! Silly me....Cool pictures!
Pearl - happy weekend and thanks for dropping by ;)
I don't have a dog so I would never have guessed it right. Great shot!
i guessed it was a dog's nose ... :)
amazing macro shots! Daisy's a beauty!
happy hunting!
I knew it was a labrador's nose - my family has all had a lot of labs. About nine all up.
Here is the last one:

It never crossed my mind it's a nose. Haha. I was even thinking it could be some kind of a fruit up close.
It's amazing how much texture there is in a dog's nose! Great shots!
Oh i did not know if that is a nose is it? Very creative way of posting the entry. Happy weekend.
At first I thought it was Rhino skin. But I LIKE THIS creature much better!!! Sweet!!!
My photo hunt this week is a sequence of photos as I open a purchase I made at Michael's Crafts shop. Can you guess what they are before I reveal them?
Come by if you can find time!! Have a super weekend.
Those are great photos! i never guessed it was your dog's nose! My dog would never stay still that long to take a picture, he senses the camera and runs!
Very cool! I didn't even do PH this week! Boo on me! I knew it was a dog nose since we have a black lab at home too!
Oh very very clever for the theme! I LOVE how close you managed to get with your macro lens!!
Hello, Oh I knew that one right off, Mr Willy Wonka bar Jonas has a nice brown one.:)
Super closeup. I thought it was a dog nose due to the texture... am glad I was right =)
I guessed it right from the second picture.
My first thought was some strange berry!
Guess I was wrong!
I am impressed! Those photos are incredible. I've never been very close to a dog's nose to have recognized it. I do prefer it in photo form, lol. I did Photo Hunt, today, too. Come see and share your link with Mr. Linky.

I love Labs! He's such a keeper!! What's his name? You had me fooled for a minute, 'til I saw the full-body shot!
I guessed nose! What a lovely dog.
I guessed nose on the second photo and should have guessed a Lab since I've had my share of them. My last one looked a lot like yours.
Good progression for the theme. Nice shots.

Wow! That's an incredible macro shot... golly. I'm mega impressed!! Nicely done Corey ;) Extremely Nice...
the first shot is my fave!
Too cute...a doggies nose. :)

THE NOSE!!!
HO HO HO, THE NOSE KNOWS
Cool photo! How did you get her to stay still? I also guessed an animal nose but did not know what type of nose.
I like your haircut also! I also have curly hair (although I often blow dry it straight) and do not like change so can relate.
Great, great shot! Your dog is so cute!
My Camera Critter is posted HERE.
Hope you can drop by. Happy weekends!
That was fabulous. What a beautiful nose sweet Daisy has!
Oh, these were great and gave me such a giggle! Great shots, Corey -- the close ups are amazing.
Dog nose! I got it! Your Daisy looks like a real sweetie.
The first photo totally threw me, and I thought it was a close up of a blackberry or something...then by the second photo I knew what it was.
I love dog's noses too. Your Daisy is beautiful and so sweet looking. I love big dogs more than just about any other animal! Thanks for sharing.
Nobody nose that one.
Daisy has the look of a loyal and caring dog ??Happy week sandy
Corey: I would have never guessed that one. Great close-up.
I guessed right away! What a clever shot and such a fun post! Have a great weekend!

Very cute. I saw it and immediately thought dog nose. I love macro shots.
Hee hee, I love this. At first I thought avocado. I would never have guessed it was your cute pups nose.
Daisy is such a lovely dog. It's great how she poses for you like that. I have a hard time getting Bruno, our pet lab to stay still.
