Spring of 2010 will FOREVER be known as the era of the HULA OBSESSION here in the household of Living and Loving.
It started somewhere around Easter, and escalated from there. Day after day......the sound of those beads whirling inside the plastic hoop could be heard from any room in our house. Sugar Bear was determined to master the art...and master it she did.

It goes......THAT way! Oh Yes, she can Hula BOTH directions. She can hula MUCH better than me. MUCH MUCH....MUCH better!
She is pretty darn proud of her accomplishment, and I can't say I blame her. Hula Hoopin' isn't for sissies!

I must introduce that to my Princess in November when I go home, don't think she has one...but can imagine the brothers wanting to do it as well.

I'm in IL for a couple of months and met a young woman who makes adult sized hula hoops. It's a big work out craze here. I may have one before the summer is over.
Maybe Sugar Bear can teach me how...

Sugar Bear, I am in awe. Really, really impressed. I can't hula worth anything...but by golly, you've GOT IT! Wow. Can you teach me?
Way to go, Sugar Bear! Abby's got hula hooping down, but Hannah and Becca are still working on it. They can twirl it on their arms though pretty well - which is about the limit of my hula hooping expertise as well. :)
