Last June, Sugar Bear and I had our very first Photo Scavenger Hunt. It was a BLAST, and I swore we were going to do LOTS more of it. Alas.....it fell to the wayside, and was nearly forgotten. UNTIL....this past weekend. I decided that for Mother's Day weekend I wanted to do a special project with my girl. It didn't take me long to decide on another scavenger hunt, and oh was it fun.
I highly recommend this little activity, but I think 20 things is a bit much. Sugar Bear loss steam alittle over half way through, so we took a break. Then jumped back in later in the afternoon. Unlike the last time, we stayed completely in our yard. I think if we could have ventured out a bit more, Sugar would have been able to keep her photo mojo going through the 20 things. I just wasn't feel all that well physically, so I didn't want to be too far from home.
Regardless of some of the glitches....this turned out to be the highlight of my weekend.....actually the highlight of my week. So without further blabbering....here are the results of our project:
1. Something BLUE
2. Something RED
3. Something WHITE
4. Something YELLOW
5. Something HARD
6. Something SOFT
7. Something ROUGH
8. Something BLACK
9. Something SMOOTH
10. Something WOODEN
11. Something METAL
12. Something PLASTIC
13. Something SQUARE
14. Something ROUND
15. An ANIMAL
16. WATER
17. A WHEEL
18. A Leaf
19. Clover
20. A Flower

well done Sugar,...you are giving mum a run for her money! I think I will do this with my friends little girl :-)
What a fabulous way to spend the day. :) Wow! I agree with Sue. Sugars pictures are so good this year. Um yea, I so wanted to do this with Bug this year and completely dropped the ball. Thank you for reminding me to just DO IT! :)
This is really a great idea - something I will *once again* share with my DIL...I always pass your tips on to her as she also has a 5 year old and often looks for things to do with her..when the 2 and a half year old and one year old allows her...LOL
Its crazy in that household.

FABULOUS! So fun to get to look at the world thru Sugar's eyes. You both did a great job, and I can imagine lots of fun was had searching and comparing!
This is SO neat! She's definitely got some of her mom's talent for photography. What a fantastic idea.
I remember you doing this last summer and I used the idea with my kids. They loved it. Thanks for the reminder, we are going to do it again.
