52 Books in a Year! Help Needed!

Back in September, I made a very simple little choice to start reading books for pleasure again. You can read a bit about that decision HERE. I definately eased into it, and read only two books in that first month. I've been keeping a running list of the the books I've read at the bottom of my blog. I noticed about a month ago, that I was quite possibly going to be able to read 52 books (average of one book a week) before the year is up, and I made it a little goal for myself. As it turns out....I'll be there easily a month before the deadline of 9/14/10. I'm THRILLED. Here is a list of the books I have read this year so far. As you can see......I'm on book 51 right now. I thought it would be fun to ask for reccommendations on my fifty second book! So....let's hear it....What is your favorite book right now? What should I read NEXT?

I'm a big Sue Grafton fan too but haven't read any of the others on your list. I'll have to try a few of them!

I posted about reading today too... :)

I don't have any suggestions for you really, I'm looking for good reading options too right now so your list came at a great time.

The Help was the best book I've read in a long time. Also if you liked Ellen Foster, Kaye Gibbons other books are really good too.

One of my all time favorite books is LAMB the Gospel According to Biff Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore. It is not as irreverent as one might think. It's about the years missing from the Bible. It is laugh-out-loud funny. I walked away from it (a few times now) hoping that this may have a little truth to it.

I am so so impressed! I love reading too and wish I would force myself to read instead of surf the web or watch t.v. but I've been so lazy about it for so long. I did however start reading a book on this trip. I'll let you know if it's a good recomendation after I finish it.

Oh WOW, Corey. I'm so impressed. That is just awesome. Though right now I can't think of a recommendation, I love to read, I've just not been able to make the time for it that I'd like yet. Soon, soon!
