I don't often take photos of birds. It isn't due to the fact that I don't find them photo worthy, because I actually I do. I just find them difficult to photograph. I see birds all the time, but they rarely stay within a good photo distance, as they seem to fear me and my camera. I have taken quite a few bird shots throughout the years, but never really captured one that made me say, "WOW!"
I still haven't, but I chose to share this photo today because it makes me smile. It is important to note that I know virtually NOTHING about birds.....but I do know a CUTE bird when I see one, and this is ONE.DARN.CUTE.BIRD!
I have been smitten with little chubby birds for several years now. I adore them. I don't often see them in real life, but I get giddy over artwork that features such chubby little birds. sigh.....too cute!
Thanks for coming by my blog this week. Have a great weekend!

23 Live It or Love It:
How could you not be smitten by chubby little cute birds? This is a very good shot.
I've been trying to take a good bird picture for years too. Still trying.
That was the first thing on my mind...this is a chubby little bird. Lol. It's cute!
i love the makes photos of birds also and never know their name :D your shot is wonderful
My PSF entry this week : in HERE. Hope you have time to visit . Thanks
Little chubby birds are so cute!
I love birds, they are adorable. But, like you, I don't consider them photo worthy either. If they were easier to photograph, I would. My dad takes amazing, amazing bird photos but he spends hours and hours sitting outside with a tripod hidden in a camoflague tent to do it.
So not worth the effort to me.
I love that photo!! What a cute little, chubby bird.
I LOVE that shot!! I also have a bird collection throughout my home. They are just to cute!
That sweet little birdie makes me smile, too!
yep - pretty awesome chubbers!!!!
You take the best photos!!! Have a great weekend, sweetie!
Great Photo!! Thanks for stopping by!
Well luck for you I am a bird freak.. um I mean.. aficionado. That is a White-Crowned Sparrow. A super duper cute one too!
Definitely a cutie. I love how he looks so chubby, what's not to like about him. Nice shot. :)
I TOTALLY feel ya, all my bird shots are either blurry or REALLY BLURRY. :)
Beautiful shot Corey!
I am new here! What a great blog :)
I have to say, that is a cute bird. I have never seen one with a striped head like that before. Great composition too!
My little bird expert couldn't immediately identify that one, but after a little research we found out that it is a white crowned sparrow. It sure is a CUTE one!
Very cute chubby bird! You still captured their essence. They do move too fast, even faster than fish! Happy PSF.
Ohh, and what a cute chubby little bird that is!! Great capture :)
: )
Great shot! It's amazing what some birds can endure. Loved the shots on your previous post, also :-)
Great shot! My attempts at birds are always while they are in flight.... not often making for post worthy shots like yours is!
They are very cute. We get a Robin every year in our garden and he is so cute. I love seeming him on a frost coated branch.
