18 Live It or Love It:
This is as SWEET as it gets! I love the teacher pointing to Sugar Bear - reminds me of when I was SB's age and the teacher abruptly pointed to me (thinking I did something wrong) pointing me out as a good example in front of the class - after raising my hand to ask a question!!! I never forgot that. Sweet, sweet pics.
Wow, Sugar Bear is so big already! Nice photos as always :)
Those are priceless photos! Sweet sweet ballerina! :)
Little pink ballerinas! How sweet is that! Hope you'll give her some pretty flowers on her first performance night! ;)
As a dance teacher who taught little one's - MY HEART MELTS...oh man, I felt like I was in the class, I could hear the music and see the expressions on the little pink ballerina's faces.
LOVE the last pic of sugar bear, she is getting too big, put a brick on her head and keep her little...
That is just precious, truly precious! Happy W/W!
How pretty! Looks like she is totally enjoying finding her inner ballerina
She's beautiful. I haven't been around in a while but it seems that she's grown leaps and bounds since the last pics I saw and that was only a couple of months ago!
She is growing into such a beautiful young lady! These pictures just made me smile. :)
Love the pics of your daughter's "inner ballerina"!!!
The reason I hopped over, though, was to thank you for sharing your great tutorial over at i *heart* faces.
I recently started zooming in more on my kiddos faces/bodies rather than the "whole" scene and have discovered so much more beauty in my photos. Ironically, being a novice photographer, I came up with that idea from my teaching days.
I was taught and always put into practice the theory that you can communicate so much more effectively if you get down on the child's level and I thought, "why wouldn't this work in photography?!!!"
What I didn't know was how come I sometimes would get a blurred background (often desired) versus a crisp background until I read your tutorial. The difference must be when I use the zoom on my DSLR versus moving my feet!
In fact, I'm going to go and try that out right now!
Anyway, great job and thanks for teaching us novices!!!
A-Dorable. Love her in that light pink, too. I'm used to seeing her in more brilliant saturated color and the pink shows a new side of her, to me. Hugs to you and SB!
Ahhhh...those pictures are soooooo precious!!
Love these photos. So precious. Thanks for sharing.

There is something about a little girl in a pink leotard that NO mother can resist. She makes a darling ballerina! Nadia was supposed to start dance classes this week, too...but the class ended up getting cancelled. :( We'll try again.
