Changing Perspective

Apr0110_0011ew

It isn't very rare for folks to want to take pictures of all the blooms Spring has to offer. I'm no exception. I can't help but aim my camera at all the glorious trees. This day was no exception. I was itching to get out there and capture the scene.
Apr0110_0021ew
I snapped a few (three) shots, then got an idea. Why not take a picture of the exact same limb with it's set of blooms a few times...only shifting my perspective a tiny bit each time. Here are the results. Four shots of the same subject with only a very slight shift in perspective. There are lessons in this exercise that I like to apply to my life.

Everything has more than one way to look at it.

Apr0110_0012ew
Sometimes, one might only change the way they see something to make a big difference in the result.

Apr0110_0019ew

One way may not be better than the others.....only different.

And in the end...you might be glad you opened our eyes, heart and mind, because you never would have experienced THIS.

An Easter Loppy

I am so very behind in nearly EVERYTHING right now. So many things that make me feel so very.....umm........AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

But...one thing I can cross off my list is introducing another little honey bunny that calls our house a home. The pictures are rather Eastery.....and that means I should do this soon, before I end up posting Easter pictures in July.

So.....here is a little cutie named, LOPPY. I suggested the name of this here bunny wabbit, and Sugar Bear whole heartedly agreed. Often you see this little bunny with one ear UP and one ear DOWN. Lopsided.

We do not know exactly how old he is...but he is definitely the youngest of the bunch. The Hubby picked him up thinking he was a Holland Lop and that we could someday breed him with Ocean, but....the older he gets, the more we think he is a Mini Lop instead. Loppy was an impulse buy, when I was out of town directly before Easter weekend. Darn Hubby and those impulse buys.

Sugar Bear is in love with this little bunny buns. He is small, complacent, and easy to pack around. This makes him the ideal little buddy right now.

However, if he is indeed a Mini Lop, he will likely be our biggest bunny when he is completely grown.

But for now....he is just the right size, and a very welcome part of our household.
