This is my daughter's first kite. It is just a cheap plastic Dora kite, but it certainly gives us lots of enjoyment. I hadn't played with a kite in probably over 25 years. Why do we ever stop experiencing these amazing moments? Why do we insist on growing up? For a moment, as I stare into the sky at this silly plastic toy....I am at peace.

I flew my first kite at 29 years of age. In my other blog in the video, there is a picture of it. They thrill is amazing. I must do this with the kids.

I think one of the reasons I enjoyed teaching kindergarten is that I got to experience so many of those moments again.
What a great shot of your Dora kite. I always have a terrible time getting my children's kite up that high. But once it's there it's a blast for everyone.
