Nothing says "Smelly" like an outhouse. Am I right, or am I right? STINKY...SMELLY......ICKY POO YUCK!
There is so many things I wish this picture was....and it is not, but I am excepting it as it is. I just have to get over that it is a tad overexposed....and there is no door with a moon on it....thus...not really appearing like an outhouse, but BELIEVE me...it is. I've been there...done THAT...and froze my hiney off.

I think it's a great photo. I like the exposure (no double entendre intended). It has a very stark, real look which I like. Good take on the smelly theme.

Great picture Corey! I love it! Coming from a girl who's family uses an outhouse on a regular basis I know outhouses...and that is a great outhouse. My parents have one that they still, to this day, use...freaky, huh! It even has electricity and a real toilet seat...and the moon shaped crescent window on the door. They are stinky, but they do come in handy when the water pump goes out.

Nope, couldn't do it. I agree with keeyit -- I think I'd have to hold it until the next opportunity.
Which in no way means I don't like the picture. It's wonderful. Just too rich in detail and texture to make me have to go.
Maybe I'd commit to using it if you had taken the photo from a bit further back. Like from space, maybe.

There are roadside "rest stops" in country NSW which use no water. They're composting toilets. They are smelly!

Gosh.. I hate toilets without door. Worst still if they do not even have water or toilet rolls there... yucky!

Great Auntie had a cabin/house on a private lake. BUT, she also had a double outhouse. Smelled, but when you needed it you learned to live with the aroma.
I think it is a great photo, I could careless the topic it is just rather desolate and poetic.
