Photo Hunters~Emotion

Last Monday, I did a little happy dance when the mail man brought me a new lens for my Camera. :) I am the proud owner of a Canon EF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 IS USM. Woo Hoo!
That afternoon I could wait no longer to test this bad boy out. Sugar provided me some interesting opportunities to practice. I find that there is always a learning curve for each new lens. In the end I was very pleased with the performance of this lens, and look forward to getting better acquainted.

Sugar Bear was having fun playing on her slide.

It had been a wet day, so there was moisture on most surfaces. I called out a reminder to be careful. Even though at the park I do not allow it, at home she is allowed to climb UP the slide. With her wet shoes and damp plastic, I knew she'd have a few slip ups.

I tried to warn her, and it looks like she was listening.

Soon, however, despite her care.....she slipped, and started sliding back down on her tummy.

She was unhurt physically.....

But her tender little heart, driven by a lack of nap that day, was broken.

The tears of EMOTION poured forth. Poor Little Sugar!

Thanks for visiting my blog this week. I really appreciate it! I look forward to seeing all the different takes on this week's theme. I do hope it isn't too EMOTIONAL!

*** oh and don't forget I'm on Top Momma! CLICK HERE!!!!! I know.....It's getting a bit old, but I am so thrilled to have lasted nearly 6 months on there. What a blessing. Thank you all who have clicked on the link and helped me achieve this accomplishment.***

Oh poor Sugar. Those 'no-nap' days really bring out all kind of 'emotion', don't they! :)

Cool lens!!!
I'm sure with the 70-300mm, we'll all be invited to see more great shots of yours :)

It's heartbreaking to see Sugar in tears :(

Oh, poor Sugar! And is it just me, or has see grown like A FOOT in the last month?! She is just getting so big!

You got a new lens and waited 4 days to try it out?! Wow, you've got more restraint than me. I have a 55-220VR, but I don't love it...I much prefer my nifty thrifty fifty!
Anyway, these are adorable - I love her eyes in #3, and expression in the last one!

Into each childhood, a few tears must fall. She was likely smiling and climbing immediately afterwards!

Lucky you on the new lens!

Those set of emotions that you've captured will become great memories and another set of emotions will emerge when you go through all these pictures with your Sugar when she's much older... ;)

Aw, poor thing! But great photos!

And cool new toy! I like my telephoto lens, but it isn't as long as yours. I would love one up to 300! Maybe...someday....
