This is the time of year that I find myself feeling quite fragmented. Work is crazy, my creative juices really start to flow, and I feel the crunch of the up
coming Holidays. I struggle to do all the things I wish to accomplish, and I spread myself too thin. Between digital scrapbooking and sewing, I have been putting blogging on the back burner for about a month now. I find it a tad funny that in the month of November, when many bloggers vow to blog EVERY.SINGLE.DAY, I vowed to blog less. I guess I am just funny like that.
No matter how busy I get, or how hurried I am, I find myself stopping to appreciate the little things. Last week, I walked out of my office to see an amazing sky. I happened to have my camera with me that day (honestly, I rarely have it with me on work days.) I was so pleased to have the opportunity to capture the sky as it quickly changed.
This photo was the first I took that day, at approximately 4:17 PM.

I am constantly in complete awe of the beauty that surrounds us. We are so blessed. May I never be too scatter.....too hurried....or too busy to stop and breath in how majestic this earth is.
15 Live It or Love It:
So beautiful!!! ;-)
Those are gorgeous Corey. And your words are so true as well! :)
So often we overlook the beauty around us. I'm so glad that you not only noticed yours, but caught it in those beautiful pictures!
Wonderful post! I love the sentiment and the pictures.
So beautiful and such a wonderful feeling this post shares! Thank you! :)
It's quite amazing what can happen in just one hour! I love the way you do a photo series to share your thoughts.
Oh wow, that last photo is magnificent!
Wow, that is utterly amazing to see that transformation, and so quickly! Amazing that it happens every day, and Im usually too busy to notice it...
Lovely series of pictures! I'm glad that you had the camera with you.
I love those sky shots! I'm not usually so good at capturing beautiful skies in pictures.
I was going to say I liked the 4:31 pic.....but that last one is awesome.
Living through a deployment gave me these exact feelings. There is so much of the little things that people really take for granted. I just found out one more wife lost her husband in this ....when people ae dealing with life and death, stopping to appreciate the little things really is important. Whining and griping about how busy traffic is....etc, really just doesn't matter.
getting of my soapbox now...
The pictures are so beautiful and really tell a story. You are such a talent at capturing the scene.
Those are amazingly beautiful! I'm so glad you had your camera. I'm guilty of being too busy/going too fast to notice the beauty around me. We all could slow down a bit.
What great perspective, friend. LOVE this.
Wow, the second one looks like the frozen North, gorgeous.
