Photo Hunters~HOT

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Okay, so this certainly isn't very original, but I had not taken the opportunity to try and capture fire with my DSLR yet, so I figured now was as good of time as any.

Our house has a forced air furnace, but Hubby and I agree, that the wood stove provides the best kind of heat to warm our house and our hearts. I took this photo looking into the open door of our wood stove.

Thank you for visiting my blog this week. Have a very happy weekend!

Corey, as you know I'm your Number One fan and I do think it's a really nice shot.

To me, the best part is that the flames are not the focal point, while the glowing wood is what really catches the eye.

The tones of the foreground are beautiful.

You have many gifts and we are lucky that you share them with us.

God bless

David

Well, GMTA! My photo is also a woodstove shot, albeit rather "silly"!

Wood heat is the BEST! Especially when the winds are howling and snow is blowing across the landscape, and you are so cozy inside your toasty abode, you can actually open the front door and allow the cold, fresh air to come on in!!!! I call this our "fresh air exchange"!

Love the picture!

We both grew up with wood stoves, and it was so nice this past weekend going to father-in-law's house and being able to cuddle around the wood stove. :) One of the things we are looking forward to whenever we get out of the city is to get a house with a wood stove again.
