Seventies Humor!

Okay...so I do know that posting about another person's blog post could be considered cheating, lazy or all in all NOT very creative, but seriously people....this post KILLED ME! I laughed so hard I almost snorted Halloween Candy out my nose. shhhh....yes, I got into Sugar Bear's bag. Don't tell.

I am a girl born in the 70's. I spent six years, in fact, of my life in the 70's, and I have to say that the photos of my family during that time CRACK ME UP!!!!!!! The matching polyester outfits....the wild patterns, and bright colors. GOOD STUFF! Here are two pics of my family taken between 1975-1978. They are the only ones I have here at my house, and I am bummed I don't have one that showcases a matching outfit situation. sigh...but you have to admit...my parents were rocking the 70's fashion, huh? YOu gotta love my brother's little plaid jacket though. tee hee

Be sure to follow the LINK! You just have too...NOt only will you see some hilarious outfit, you'll read some of the most humorous commentary around.

Be sure to come back here and let me know what you thought about it. I'd love to hear whether it sent you back to good times...or if you could totally NOT relate.

Have fun! The 70's totally ROCK! And chest hair......the 70's rocked the chest hair!

P.S. You'll earn serious brownie points if you comment and mention that Sugar Bear looks ANYTHING like I did as a little girl. Ummmm and now I need a brownie....

Ok, I really want points so I will just say.. you were as cute when you were little as sugar is now. Does that count? ;)
You however look so much like your mom. And I never really noticed it before but your brother and your dad...
Such a cute family. Yep they were definatley rockin the 70's.

I saw that post too!!!

I was born in 1977, so I don't remember much. But like I said to someone else, I suffered through the 80's. Take away a little hair, and I totally think you and Sugar look alike :-)

I loved that link. The only bad thing is my parents honestly had those "cowboy chachi loves you best" shirts but in blue instead of the white. Oh No!
Thanks for the laugh.

Love 15 Minute Lunch! I love that pictures of kids taken during the 70s look like they are sitting on an ironing board - lined-up oldest to youngest. And oh! To be able to buy some of those outfits today!

Sugar Bear is so freakin' adorable - and she definitely looks like you did as a little girl (and I am not just blowin' smoke for you!)

That link was SO FUNNY! I was laughing to tears at that picture of the kid with the huge belt because I have seen pictures of my husband when he was little that look EXACTLY LIKE THAT, bowl cut and everything!

Oh yes, I was born in '70 so my childhood was all about the outfits, the hairstyles... That was a hilarious post and I love the pictures of your family - makes you wonder what we'll say about our current styles 30 years from now though, huh! :)
