There's no day like a SNOW day!

Nov2410_0004ew
It doesn't really snow here......not usually....and last year....not at all. I think! I do remember Sugar Bear being confused because she just wasn't sure if winter had really happened because it didn't snow. It is always my hope that we'll get just a couple days of the white stuff to satisfy our yearning, and this year....it came earlier than ever.

And there was MUCH excitement! woo hoo....it snowed!

Being that our area just isn't all the used to snow and ice, the schools usually panic and call it a "snow day", even if it isn't all that bad. I think the adults are just as excited as the kiddos, and want to stay home as well.

This particular day, Sugar Bear's school decided to close, but I felt that it wasn't bad enough for me to miss work, so we just had a delayed day. We stayed home for a few hours so that we could have a little fun before it melted.

I have to say.....there is something just so endearing about watching a child make a snowman. ♥

Of course, my girl needed a bit of instruction as she doesn't recall ever making a snowman before. I'm hoping that this memory lasts for her.

She gleefully searched for the perfect nose, and carefully inserted it in our snowman's head. A curved blade of grass was the mouth she chose. I had to help her push it in so that it would stay.

Two rock eyes completed the face, and she was proud as can be of her little creation.

He definitely needed a final touch, and Sugar was more than excited to share her hat with him. She took great care in getting it on him JUST right, after giving him a bit of grass hair on the very top of his head.

What a darling pair. ♥

It doesn't really get much better than that!

Well that is just too cute all the fun you are having. I am giggling at the rain suit and water boots. One would suffer frostbite wearing that on a snow day here! LOL I hope you get another two or three before your "winter" is over.

Oh how fun! She is growing up so so fast! That is the most dear of memories for her. I do not think my tow have ever really built a snowman. That is on the list of things to do in the time they are young.
I do hope that this finds you all well and happy. That is a terrific weather suit she has on. Looks like something found up in your country. This is the first quiet morning I have had for sometime. Thought I'd stop over and bid you a fabulous day. Keep up the loving kindness that defines you. That girl of yours will ether become a model or had the cameras") She has lovely hair, The way it curls naturally is so pretty. Days go so fast.
Have you ever thought of a time laps type thing a pic year after year at the exact same place and pose. That would make a cool collage.
Take good care of yourself Corey. Do a nice thing for your heart.

Snow last week was a treat indeed! Sugar is getting so big and her hair is so long now. Beautiful girl you have there, just like her mama. :) Great pics too.

She is just BEAMING isn't she?! So, so much fun to be had in the snow. We got our first light skimming of it this morning, and we're hoping for more!
