Continuing with my quest to pull myself out of a photography funk, I did a little playing with water and flowers the other day. While I didn't actually get THE photo I was looking for, I had a blast, and learned more about myself, and photography. I do a really good job of remembering it is the PROCESS and not the PRODUCT when I'm dealing with my child, but often fall short of this when working on something myself. I want so badly to just nail it from the get go, and struggle with frustration issues. I need to let the product go...and enjoy the process more.......EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
I truly feel that I will lose sight of the great blessing photography has brought to my life, if I can not achieve the sense of peace with the process. It is time to do a little more work on Corey.
23 Live It or Love It:
I'm not sure exactly what you WERE looking for, but what you've done here is incredible.
You have an incredible gift - one of the best I've ever seen.
Know that your pictures are an inspiration to me. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
STUNNING! These are gorgeous! They also make me want a macro lens ever so much more.
Oh wow! How I love the reflections in the drops of water. You have such wonderful ideas! Well done!
I'm enjoying your efforts to get out of the funk!
I too need to learn how to embrace the process more. I don't know what you were trying to achieve but what you got is just beautiful. :)
Geez, I love these pictures!
Wow. Again, you've amazed me. I love the reflections in the water drops.
Have I mentioned that you are one of my favorite blogs? Next to MOMOLOGY of course.
LOVE these pictures! And I have a hard time enjoying the process in my own life. It's tough!
Jeez...and you didn't get the photo you wanted to?!?! lol. Those pictures are AMAZING!
The process as trying as it can be is truly the prize of the adventure. For it is in that process Cory that understanding of deeper things becomes gained. Those are the pearls of the journey. It is hindsight that reveals them.
The images are breath taking. More importantly your heart is beautiful!
whatever you were working for, I'm blown away with the end result. impressive. I love browsing your blog, such talent. Here’s my photo story. happy Friday!
Goodness me, that photo of the single drop is truly brilliant!
You have incredible patience. I don't get how you got the droplets to stay on the flower let alone had the patience to make it work. Amazing work.
drooling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You do fabulous work, seriously! My mouth is still open! Fabulous job and I look forward to more photos as a product of you coming out of the funk.
And because I want to do this, lol, what lens are you using? Love the reflection in the drops!

I stand before you and applaude, what BRILLIANT work...the last photo with the reflections is mind blowing...
YOU ARE TOO GOOD!!!
u asked me a question in my blog.
When we return to South Afrian I will have to work as the lifestyle there is alot harder than here in Germany, it will be impossible for hubby to buy house, cars etc etc and support me the way we can here.
I'm not allowed to work in Germany, it stats that on my passport...so after live where i was doing 3/4 jobs this has been a lovely lifestyle for me and I will miss it when I return, so in no hurry to return.
Back in SA I was a dance and aerobic teacher, can you imagine me going back in my 50's trying to pick up that again...not going to be easy.
Oh my gracious! These are all so stunningly beautiful.
I wish you were closer. I would love to be a shadow.
It's more then the picture though you have a special touch to everything you do.
From one perfectionist to another - those photos are beautiful!!! Keep up the good work on trying to give yourself time to learn.
