I was so pleased to have my Wordless Wednesday photos received so very well this week. They were the results of a totally fun project I played around with last week. It was as simple as can be, and the outcome brought me so much joy. I look forward to trying it again and again. I was so amazed that something so easy brought such beauty to my life.
You can do it too. Simply place a CD or DVD upside down on a flat surface....add some drops of water, and snap away. Be sure to move around and try different angles so you can get different colors...and use different size droplets.
As you can see, I also had fun getting a bit of a reflection of the trees and mountains outside my house. I took these in about 5 minutes one evening after work. I was playing, and enjoying myself. I was surprised to see the finger prints, and lint, and scratches on the photos, so be sure to clean the CD or DVD up first. (see the photos in my Wordless Wednesday photos to see what I mean.)
I can't wait to see if any of you try it. Please let me know if you do. As always, if you are interested in the settings I used, you can click on the photos, and you will be re-directed to Flickr where you can click on the "more properties" to the right of the photo. There you can find everything you want to know...and more.
Have fun! May little drops of water fill your life with color, as it has mine.

That is so cool, I will definitely try that! I love Tell Me Thursday, what a great idea.
Wow! Those pictures are beautiful! They would be great blown up and framed on the wall! My Tell Me Thursday is here.
That is unbelievable! I don't have a fancy camera, but I am going to encourage Stacey to give this a try! She is so enjoying her camera which she bought with 21st birthday money! Thanks for the inspiration!
I can't wait to try it. I hope it turns out as well with my POS.
Wow...I would have never thought of that. Really cool. Thanks for sharing how. Just found out about Wordless Wednesday and loving it.
Aha! I thought that's what you did. :o) I'd love to try it, but I simply don't have a lens that will let me focus close enough to get any pretty pics.
So cool! Thanks for sharing how you did it. I will have to give it a shot.
Stunning. I SO need a macro!
Good guess Christina. I would love to try this but, alas, no macro.
