Photostory Friday~ This little Piggy

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Okay....so you might have read THIS and THIS earlier this week....if not....please do. I'll wait~ (insert Jeopardy theme song here.)

Are you back....did you read them? They are totally short....so don't fret.....go ahead....read them. I'll wait......

Okay....are we all caught up? Seriously????? you will wish you had. Don't say I didn't try....K?

This brings us to the wrap up of this little story. Today we received the lab results and it appears like most folks, we were just being paranoid. Neither animal in our house tested positive for the pig swine flu.  We are feeling a bit sheepish around here.  I mean, how could we have gotten so carried away.  It isn't like the media was trying to FREAK us out everytime we turned around.  It isn't like the news was trying to make us feel like the sky was falling or anything.  Seriously....I have NO idea what got our panties in a bunch.

We definately breathed a sigh of relief this evening, and had a lovely relaxed dinner, and a quick bath.  We giggled at our silly assumptions, and felt pretty glad we hadn't announced to the whole Internet that the world was coming to an end or something.  Whew.......that would have been embarrassing.

I still have NO IDEA what got into us.

So funny!! I did stop and read your other posts and I have to say that my kids love playing doctor too (but I don't have such beautiful pictures to show it). How fun! I did write a post on BlogHer about playing doctor:

But Corey, you have me concerned. You said you're feeling SHEEPISH. This isn't the start of a new epidemic, is it? The Sheep Flu?

That's a riot! lol

I looked at your pictures and there are so many great ones, I decided to wait until my husband is home this weekend and have him help me pick out one.

Either you are letting go and having even more fun with life or you are really stressed out and losing sanity! :) You are having some fun with blogging and that is great to see! Love the Sugar is playing along. Olivia would do the same, but I am so busy with so much.............

Jo Beaufoix said...

Hmmmmm. I think maybe Sugar might need to seea doctor. Just in case, you know... Or are you just telling porkies??

Jo Beaufoix said...

Oh just thought, 'porkies' os cocney rhyming slang for lies - as in 'porkie pies' = lies.

It's kind of a gentle way to say you think someone might be fibbing. Suddenly thought you might not say that over there.
