It's BIGGER than ME

A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching. ~Sivananda

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about BIG things, and I am always led back to the thought that everything is really so much bigger than it seems When it all comes down to it, each and every turn I take leads me one step closer, or one step away from the person I am meant to be.

Each day we are given opportunities to take what it given to us, and make it better. Each moment is a gift given to me, and it is a shame to ignore it. Within us, we have ability to find the treasures of this life, and hold them for ourselves, or share them with the world.

We can let opportunities pass, or reach out and give them a try. We can go with the flow, or fight the current. We can accept what is......or cry about what isn't. I can let things GET the best of me.....or MAKE the best of me. It really is MY choice.

What we do matters. What we say matters.

Everything that ever walked or crawled on the face of the earth, swum the depths of the ocean or soared through the skies left its imprint here. ~Robert M. Fresco

Who we are matters.....and who it matters to the MOST is our children. And they deserve our best.
Feb2110_0129ew
It is so very humbling to know that it took becoming a mother to realize that it really isn't about ME......but more about each and every day working to be a better ME. A person my child can proudly tell the world about. A person I can only become because of her love. Children truly are the motivation to GET IT RIGHT.

Corey this is a wonderful post. My husband and I were talking about this last night. It is really hard to hold fast to this if/when pessimism comes around us. I have had such a time keeping up the true beauty of every opportunity. It was once that It was just a part of , a large part of who I am. Think I got real tired or something of late.
