Team-Up Thursday~ Shapes

teamup

Hosted by Megan and Hip Momma

This week, Berta and I aimed our cameras at the idea of SHAPES. When I suggested the theme, I knew exactly what I was going to take a photo of. My life was taking me back to a location in which I recalled a wonderful brick walkway. I wanted very much to snap a shot of the fun shapes. I think it would have been so very fun to lay those bricks. I love the colors, and the weather worn look.

Now Berta......she knocked the ball out of the park. seriously....have you seen a better shot for the theme of SHAPES. Her window shot is just plain perfect. I can't stop looking at it. What a beautiful scene. I love the blue. I'm not sure if it is just reflection or the color of the panes, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Well done, Berta!

Your photo reminds me of the patio my dad and I built when I was young - much like this photo and it took us SOOOO long to do it. At that time they didn't have all the curves and patterns they do today - but I have fond memories. It's crazy at all the work it takes to bring such a thing to market - design to manufacture! Love your angle and coloring of your photo - you are the master! This was a fun week - they all have been!

First I have to say that I love the awesome pairing of shapes..you have inspired me to look at shapes all day now!
Second, you must be like the Blogger Jedi! I love how you have (a)created a way for us to link our team up photos and (b) how you have a little message pop up warning people not to steal your photos if they 'ctrl click' on it! I was trying to paste in my url when I saw that surprise.
You could have a workshop on blogging secrets! I would join!

Even though the shapes are different the fact that they are stone/brick really ties them together. Bravo!

I love the angle that you took of the walkway and how both shots have lots of different shapes in each of them. Isnt it great when you have an idea in minda laready when you pick the theme. It always makes me excited to get out and take that picture! Great dip!

I like the perspective in your shot! Cool angle and it goes so well with the straight on window which is also a little off center. Cool circles and squares. :)

I love that the photos play off each other nicely. Your photo I like for the geometrically interplay of the bricks. Berta's window gives the feeling of simplicity..the window is beautiful.
