The colors of a wedding

The colors in this wedding just made these photos POP! One thing I've really noticed while shooting weddings is how the colors really set the tone for a wedding. This wedding was just so colorful and fun.

But some...I just like in Black and White better. It gives them a more classic feel.

Yes, I'm posting random wedding shots because a few folks have asked to see them....and I'm too tired to edit something new. sigh.....

52 Weeks of ME- Week thirty-Five

Okay...so I couldn't remember the theme....so I decided to go with something I've been wanting to do for months. .....AND.....I was home alone on Friday evening, so it was the perfect opportunity.

I took the following photos using a tripod, remote shutter release, and a FAN! Yes.....a FAN! I've been dying to try to get shots using a fan. I wanted something that had movement in it. I spent about an hour outside on my deck snapping shots, and I learned a little bit about myself!

First....I am NOT a model....nor could I ever be. the Majority of the faces I make....are NOT cute, pretty, beautiful or lovely. There are certainly NOT sexy either.

But that's okay, cause I'm content with being a goof ball! and I am good at THAT!

It was a hoot, and I can only imagine what the bunnies, squirrels, birds, mini horse, and bugs in my back yard were thinking. What a goof ball I am. So a model I am NOT, but suddenly in among all the "other" shots.....out jumps a shot that makes me go, "hmmmm.....now this one is different! Who the heckola is THAT?" I don't know how it happened, but one shot out of the 105 turned out like THIS:

And suddenly......I'm not such a dork after all! I actually got what I was looking for....even though I had to take 97 photos BEFORE this one could emerge. The lesson here.....keep trying....keep going.....don't give up. Have fun....and you just never know. You might reach your goal in the end.

Friends in the Fisheye

Oh how the kiddos love a fish-eye lens. This little group of friends had a blast posing for me and my camera the other day. What a bunch of yummy ham sandwiches. ♥

This is one of Sugar's favoritest friends. They've been at daycare together for 4 years....and I love to watch them play.

They have a special bond....both are "only children" and they have brought out the best in each other at daycare. We are gonna miss this guy.

You met these two little honey's earlier this week. What darling sisters they are. We've only known them for almost a year, but they have made a fun impression on both Sugar Bear and I.

The oldest sissy, is a hoot and a half. She is full of personality, and I love her spunk.

Little sis....is a doll. She also keeps the kiddos giggling with her little antics, and her sweet voice.

I wish there were more kiddos there when I finally get a chance to pick Sugar Bear up at the end of the day, but it has been down to these few each day this week. So hard knowing she only has 3 more days there. gulp......She is gonna miss these guys. well...if they don't kill her first. tee hee

Here's my girl for you...this is her current favorite silly face. What a nut job she is.....

but she's MY little nut job, and I love her. I do think her daycare "party mix" of mixed nuts is gonna not be the same without her. I know we won't be the same without them.

Week 47

August 15th was actually my first day back to work after my summer break, but I just couldn't bring myself to snap a shot of my work day. Instead, I chose to capture the growth of our baby bunnies. I so love coming home to these little honey bunnies. ♥ This is our favorite one. We have 6 black babies, and this one who looks just like mama, Loppy.

August 16th was a pretty normal day for us girls.....work for me.....daycare of The Sugar. A set of sisters at daycare brought all the kiddos some goody bags from their birthday. In it....was some fun "fruit by the foot" thingies. Sugar was on cloud nine when I let her have it on the way home. She doesn't get things like that very often as I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to food dyes. As you can see.....her tongue tells no lies.

August 17th was a beautiful Wednesday. Unfortunately I spent the VAST majority of it inside my office at work. I decided that I wanted to capture a sight that we see twice a day since I'm back to work. This slough runs along the highway that we travel to and fro. It is so beautiful this time of year. I love the golden light in the early evening.

August 18th marked the day that Sugar Bear lost her second top tooth. My daycare provider had texted me a photo earlier in the day, so I was prepared with my camera at pick up time. Sugar was hamming it up for her friends by not letting mama get an easy shot of her new smile. This is VERY Sugar. Love this shot.

August 19th I came home and went about tending to my animals. Tiny insisted on following me around as usual. I couldn't resist the pretty evening light, and the fun backlit situation. She is such a pretty girl.

August 20th found me home alone....except for the animals, that is. I had considerable amounts of photo editing to do....and unfortunately spent the entire weekend (which was beautiful) sitting at my computer. The pets were restless....and my bum got tired. Ugh. I nabbed this shot of my kitty. He looks grouchy...and that's exactly how I felt.

August 21st was another day in the house at the computer, but I took a little "Mental Health" break to play with baby bunnies. Can you see this amazing growth in this little guy/gal? The eyes are open....and he/she is so much bigger. WOW! and.....cute enough to eat with a spoon. ♥

I am not at all surprised to see that I managed to capture the majority of my shots of my pets on my first week back to work. There is nothing more stress reducing as petting a furry friend. ♥

Wordless Wednesday~ Married

This couple had such JOY to be finally married. ♥
