Three Corners

Last month the lovely Lindy contacted me about a project she wanted to start. She blessed my heart by inviting me to join both her and Jeanette in creating the Three Corners photography group. Each month our challenge is take photographs that fit that particular month's theme, then post our favorite three photos on our blog, Flickr group, and link to each other's blogs.

The Theme for March was "Street Photography." This theme excited me, as it was a bit out of my norm. I was excited for the challenge to try new things. I have tons of BIG ideas. However, in the end.....with both Sugar and I being sick for 3 weeks straight, none of my ideas came to realization. I resorted to photographing a more typical setting for me. Here are my three photos:

I spend about 90% of my driving time on highways like this. What I like about this photo is it makes me feel dizzy. It represents what I feel about these country Highways. I get carsick.....so I usually like to drive, to keep the nausea at bay.

The gravel road leading to my house.

Mud Puddles....always the mud puddles.

Please visit both Jeanette and Lindy to see their photos as well.

I'm soo excited I could spit! Ooh OK so maybe not spit but at the very least squeal a little. I love how the photos turned out and can't wait to start on next months!

That first one does make me feel dizzy! What a shot! And the mud puddles - wouldn't be complete without them. Great shots again.

This is such a great idea. I checked out the other two blogs and love the fact that all your ideas of "street photography" were so very different!

The road to your house is lovely...reminds of driving to my in-laws in rural Ontario. Makes me smile :-)

Love the photos, although the first one makes me a bit nauseous as well. I have the worst time in the car when I am pregnant!
I love the idea for the photography group and look forward to seeing next months!

Oh how neat - congrats! :)

That first photo makes me dizzy too - I actually can't even look at it.

Love the gravel road - so many shades of green (you're making me long even more for spring here...) and the mud puddles.
