Great closeups. I like that you provide both crisp detail and blurred images.

Both bugs and flowers can be beautiful.

Great shots all of them! I especially like the one with the close up of the fingernail. You captured wonderful texture and in both the nail and the bug. :)

All great shots! They leave me lusting after a macro lens.

Superb, Corey... I am loving your lens!

what I wouldn't give to have a macro lens! Awesome pictures!

holly said...

forget the lens, what i wouldn't give to have your skill!

i have to put arrows on my freakin' photos to give them any value, otherwise, blech. you know that phrase a picture's worth a thousand words? mine are a few words shy, so i have to put my *own* on...

sigh.

OH! AND! you told us to dig out our manuals and get familiar with the settings on our cameras.

so i did.

the manual said "that button is for taking pictures close up."

DUH.

"that button is for taking pictures in the moonlight."

seriously. i think i got that from the little picture.

sony doesn't really do photo manuals very well. that's why i put it down initially.

why is this comment so long? why hasn't someone told me to shut up? i'm going to bed now.

superior photos of stuff i would normally not give a second look at.

you rock the house of photo, girl.

Those are some amazing close-ups!

Live it or Love it? I definitely Love it! Great close-up shot! I love the ones of the ladybird on the fingers (is it ladybird?).

Wow. Those are amazing!!! I wish I had a gift for photography like that.

Awesome photos, as always! The bug, what kind of bug is THAT? I found one in my garden last night and it kind of creeped me out as I'd never seen one like that before. But it moved kind of slow and didn't seem to have any stingy parts so I didn't run away.

Beth Ellen said...

Wonderful shots. I really love the first one. Great composition.

Blimey Corey, those are amazing. Stunning. It looks like you and the bug are having a chat.
