....the significant other, that is. My friend Julie tagged me with a meme, but not just any meme. She changed it up, and asked me to share 5 things about my significant other that you all might not know. I am jumping right on this tag, as it is pretty easy to come up with 5 things, since I hardly ever write about my hubby.
Hubby and I have been together for over half of my life. We began dating in 1990, and have been married since 1996. I can hardly remember what it is like to NOT be romantically linked to him. We have had our struggles, and currently we are in a "mending" phase of our relationship. Life is a journey....marriage is a challenge....there are no rewards without a little hard work. We do our best....we love each other deeply....and take it day by day.
Now for 5 totally random things you may not know about my hubby:
1. Hubby rarely allows photos of himself. The only real exception is when he wants a photo of himself and one of his hunted animals. He is an avid hunter. If it can be hunted....he wants to do it. I am about as far opposite from this as I can get. I cry at catching a fish, even if I catch and release, so photographing him with his kills doesn't appeal to me, but I usually take a quick one or two. All other photos, I have snuck in when he thinks I am photographing something else. tee hee....
2. Hubby has many hobbies that revolve around remote control vehicles. He has cars, planes, and helicopters. He spends a great deal of time working at perfecting his skills. It is a spendy....and sometimes dangerous hobby.
3. Hubby is a commercial fisherman. He has worked off the pacific coast from California to Alaska for 25 years. His entire life has been fishing. Recently he has taken a leave of absence from it. He is burned out, and tired of the long hours, and months away from home. Commercial fishing is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, and he has been so fortunate all these years. You'd think, if you spend so much time on the ocean....fishing....you wouldn't like to sport fish....but he does.
4. Hubby has had a beard for about 10 years now. He likes it because it is easy to maintain, keeps his face warm when out on the ocean, and hides his double chin. :) I am quite used to it, and only rarely wonder what he would look like without it. Most people in our life thinks Sugar Bear looks just like him....all she needs is a beard.
5. It is really rare to find Hubby without a hat on. His leather hat is his pride and joy. It carries his hunting memories, and he identifies himself with it. The ball caps are more just to hide his bald head, and to protect his head, eyes, and face from sunburn out on the ocean.
So there he is....my significant other, and Sugar Bear's Dad. We love him.
As for tagging anyone....I'm still not 100% healthy, and too tired to choose, so if the idea of this new meme strikes a fancy to you...then consider yourself tagged. I'd love to learn more about your loved one.

Feeling Random
Donetta tagged me with the "7 random things about me" meme. I have done this one.....quite awhile back, but I am in the mood....so here we go. However, I am choosing to do Seven Random Things about Sugar Bear.
Once you are tagged, link back to the person who tagged you.
Post “The Rules” on your blog.
Post seven weird or random facts about yourself on your blog.
Tag seven people and link to them.Comment on their blogs to let them know they’ve been tagged.
1. Sugar Bear was born with unusually large big toes. From that first day, I called them her "monkey toes." As she has aged, they have become more in proportion to the rest of her toes, though. I think that is a good thing.
2. Sugar Bear is an extended nurser. We are on our 38th month of Breast Feeding. WOW! I am trying to let her self ween.....it has been discussed by family that she will be nursing at the Senior PROM! Yes, I do get a lot of flack for this...but I'm okay with it. You Can Call Me A Freak If You Want To.
3. Sugar Bear has nearly 0% interest in Potty Training. ZERO! I always say she is too busy being brilliant to worry about silly things like Potty Training. tee hee....It is odd to me though, as she just over three. That is a bit old for a girl to not be Potty Trained. Oh well.......surely by her Senior PROM she'll be Potty Trained! wink...wink...
4. Sugar Bear isn't all that interested in what clothing she wears. She simply lets me choose for her, and rarely if ever has an opinion on certain items. If anything....she might request certain shoes. I'm enjoying this while it lasts.
5. There is not one single food that Sugar will eat 100% of the time. All though she eats a wide variety of foods in general, she will not always eat food I know she likes....not even ice cream or a cookie. She tends to only eat the food she is interested in that day. Often she only eats meat twice a week, but on those days....she'll eat a ton of it.
6. Sugar Bear LOVES to sing. She always has. She started actually singing "row row row your boat" when she was alittle over one year old. She has a good sense of rhythm, and can carry a tune. Recently, her capacity for learning a new song has increase dramatically. She will request to hear a certain song like 5 times in a row, and then she will have it down.
7. Sugar Bear is one of those children that wakes up in a great mood. Every morning, her eyes just blink open, and a smile is on her face. Even if I have to wake her, she just sits up and starts yacking about the day ahead. This morning, I heard through the baby monitor a little voice singing a song. She just made it up as she went...."its a beautiful day....it is a good day....what a nice day...."
GOSH....I LOVE THIS KID! Life is good!
Now....if you are reading this....and want to play along...go right ahead.

Is It Me....or Not?
Okay, so floating around blogland, has been a really fun birthday month meme, and I even though often, I am dodging tags, this time, I was sort of interested in giving it a whirl. Alas.....no one has tagged me. Tonight I totally lucked out when The Rotten Correspondent opened it up to whomever wanted to play. I was all...."pick me....pick me!"
***edited to add that literally 10 minutes after I posted this, I was reading the always fabulous Troy, and he had tagged me. That rocks!***
Here are the instructions:
1. Mention the person who tagged you and create a link back to them.
2. Copy-paste the traits for all the twelve months.
3. Pick your month of birth.
4. Highlight the traits that apply to you.
5. Tag 12 people and let them know by visiting their blogs and leaving a
comment for them.
6. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve done it!
Here we go....I am a September baby. This past Fall I celebrated the 3rd anniversary of my 30th birthday. The following traits are suppose to describe me....let's just take a look.
1. Suave and compromising- ummmm the fact that I had to look up the meaning of BOTH of these terms makes me think......"NO!" I am not at all sophisisticated or smooth. I were....I just might be able to figure out what exactly compromising means. sigh....
2. Careful, cautious and organized- Do these three words even go together? I am certainly careful....and quite cautious...but organized....Puuuuuleeeeze! I am sooooooooooooo not organized.
3. Likes to point out people’s mistakes- To be honest....I might notice the mistakes....but I don't usually like to draw attention to them.
4. Likes to criticize- I am successfully winning this battle. Again...I notice...but don't like to say anything.
5. Stubborn- Not at all.
6. Quiet but able to talk well- tee hee....well....let's just say they sat me by the hearing impaired child in first grade in hopes that I would STOP.TALKING! I struggle daily with controlling my motor mouth. I like to think that what comes out of my never stifled mouth is worth listening too, but I fear....sometimes it is not. sigh....
7. Calm and cool- I'd say I am neither calm nor exciteable.....neither cool nor hot. I am usually somewhere in between.
8. Kind and sympathetic- Whew....finally one that is completely correct. I am sometimes overly sympathetic, and find myself feeling the emotions of even fictitious characters much too deeply.
9. Concerned and detailed- about what? I don't get this one either. Maybe there will be one saying, "airheaded and braindead."
10. Loyal but not always honest- Yup....I'll stick by you, but I won't tell you that your pants make your butt look big. Sorry.
11. Does work well- I'd like to think so. I have potential....I do know that.
12. Very confident- Depends on what we are talking about...but as I age, I find myself being less and less sure of myself. I'm working on that.
13. Sensitive- In a good way, but not overly sensitive such that I am easily offended.
14. Good memory- Okay...so seriously...was I born in the right month? I have the WORST memory EVER. I will tell myself at the mailbox that as soon as I get in the house, I need to do something, and literally 2 minutes later....it is gone....gone....gone....like I remember 3 days later gone. ugh....
15. Clever and knowledgeable- I think we established that this isn't quite true with the fact that I have had to look up at least 4 of these words already.
16. Loves to look for information- Why yes.....yes I do. I have a webMD.
17. Must control oneself when criticizing- Okay, I may have a bad memory, but didn't we cover this already?????
18. Able to motivate oneself- Ummm yeah....sometimes. I am rocking the "no chocolate in Januray" thing....so that counts right?
19. Understanding- Some would say to a fault.
20. Fun to be around- Well...I don't want to toot my own horn....but yeah....I am freakin fun.
21. Secretive- Can a person even be secretive when they never shut up?
22. Loves leisure and traveling- Leisure.....yes! Traveling.....NO! I'm a homebody. Does it count though that I WANT to want to travel? I really want to, really....I do.
23. Hardly shows emotions- I'm an open book. What my mouth doesn't say...my face let's it show.
24. Tends to bottle up feelings- With numbers 6, 8, 13, 19, 21, and 23....I really doubt it.
25. Very choosy, especially in relationships- Mostly no....but I really try to surround myself with people that look to the positive, and want to build people up, not tear them down. So if a person starts to be toxic for me, I will painfully let them go. Life is to short to spend time in unhealthy relationships. However, I try to love everyone for who they are, and gently encourage them to be the best they can be.
26. Systematic- Great....we just had to end on another one to make me feel like an idiot!
I'd say on a whole...this description is totally off the mark for me, but I wasn't able to fit well into any of the other descriptions either. Is it just me...or are they a tad on the negative side?
Now for the tagging. I really want to read harrass the following people with this meme:

Christmas Hoopla!
Megan over at Sorta Crunchy requested that I give the Christmas Hoopla a whirl. Since she is such a sweet friend, and so graciously helped me with my blog while I was away a couple of weeks ago...I certainly couldn't turn her down. Even though I have like 50 million great post ideas just waiting to be addressed, I'll humor you all with this Random Holiday Hoopla thingy.
Here goes:
1. List 12 random things about yourself that have to do with Christmas
2. Please refer to it as a 'hoopla' and not the dreaded 'm'-word (which, for you bloggy newbies, is meme)
3. You have to specifically tag people when you're done. None of this "if you're reading this, consider yourself tagged" stuff is allowed...then nobody ends up actually doing it. The number of people who you tag is really up to you -- but the more, the merrier to get this 'hoopla' circulating through the blogosphere.
4. Please try and do it as quickly as possible. The Christmas season will be over before we know it and I'd like to get as many people involved as possible.
Let the randomness begin!
1. I have at least 5 Christmas sweaters...given to me as gifts. I might wear one....and only once a year. Why do I keep them?
2. Ever since getting XM radio I have not used my 20 some Christmas CD's and I am having serious guilt over it. I used to put like 3 in my car, and use the others at work, from Thanksgiving until Christmas. Now I just listen to the holiday stations on the XM in my truck and the XM on my computer at work. I love XM, but now I have wasted money on cds....sigh.
3. I usually leave my Christmas lights up on my house until well after Easter. I am totally lazy like that. I don't turn them on or anything....I just leave them up forever. I once took a photo of Sugar Bear outside in March and you could see the icicle lights on the house. tee hee
4. I like when people give me a list of things they might want for Christmas. I would rather get something they actually want or need, than spend money on something they end up re-gifting, or never using.
5. I really like it when people ask me for a list of things I want or Sugar Bear might want. I am a practical person, and I usually have a list of things I just couldn't bare to buy for us through out the year, so they would make perfect gifts.
6. Practical gifts are my favorite. I don't think it has always been that way, but since I have more than my fair share of nice jewelry and such, I'd rather just tell Hubby what I want (like a new lens) and get that, than be surprised with something I really don't need.
7. On a whole I think that most people spend entirely too much money on Christmas. I heard on the news the other day, that people shouldn't spend more than 3 days wages on Christmas. I think a lot of people actually spend more than 2 weeks wages.
8. I don't remember when I realized that there wasn't a Santa. It must not have been too traumatic, if I can't remember it at all. I actually have a hard time getting in to the whole Santa thing as a parent. I really should do some research into Santa, and figure out what I want to convey to my girl. I feel sort of Santa ignorant. Right now...I think she just thinks Santa is Tim Allen.
9. I like to mail my Christmas cards out in groups of 5 or so each day until I am done. It spreads out my Christmas cheer. Each day I get to go to my mailbox, and hum a Christmas song, and put my little red flag up. The fun lasts longer that way.
10. I used to be an avid Christmas wrapping paper saver. I opened presents using a knife, then folded the wrapping up in a neat square and reused it the next year. Since having Sugar Bear....I can really care less. I also, I needed my storage for more important things than wrinkly old wrapping paper.
11. My favorite Christmas foods are Cookies.....all kinds, and I simple adore Cheese Ball And Crackers. My favorite way to eat on Christmas Eve is to just have tons of appetizers and desserts. YUMMO!
12. I can't wait to see Miss Sugar Bear perform in a Holiday Program. Since she goes to a small in home Preschool, it won't be for a few more years, but I am really anxious to see my girl on stage.
Well, since I HAVE to tag someone. I'll pick Pam, and Autumn. Lucky girls. wink wink!

Friday Freestyle
Well folks....It's FRIDAY! whew.....I made it. As some of you know, it was a "wait and see" week for me. Here's an update. On day four of the rash, it started to slowly disappear. It is day six now, and it appears to be nearly gone. It's cause will remain a mystery. I suppose I am okay with that. Let's just hope it never comes back. I really appreciated all your heartfelt comments. It really meant a lot. Thank you! Sugar is on the mend, and I am sure she is plotting her next stunt to get mama all worked up and nervous. I think she likes that. wink wink....
~The lovely Katie, at Bugs on a Blog, tagged me this week with the 6 facts or habits MEME. :) So I am going to try to come up with 6 things you might not know about me. It is always harder than it looks. Here we go:
1. I love books. I used to actually read books...like at least one book a week. I was a regular at the Library. I would lay in bed and read each night. I would read for hours on the weekends. Then I started getting too many magazine subscriptions thanks to eBay. By the time I got through all my magazines, more would come, and I didn't have much time for books. Then I got the nasty Internet habit, and my free time got sucked away in the evenings, and the weekends. The truth is...I miss books. I need to get back in the habit of reading books. I love to read a variety of books...sci-fi, non-fiction, mysteries, horror, and so on. As long as it is NOT a romance I'll read it. or at least I used too....sigh.
2. I NEED at least 3 blankets on me to feel like I sleep well. I think it is the weight of the coverings that I crave. I just can't sleep if the blanket is too light. The best sleep of my life was in college, when I had to sleep on a sleeping porch with 60 other girls. We had the window open and an exhaust fan going for circulation of air. It was cold, cold, cold in the winter, so I slept in flannel PJ's, a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, flannel sheets, a comforter and two afghans. I'm telling you...it was the BEST.SLEEP.EVER!
3. My great grandmother made me a three toned pink ripple afghan in 1985. It became my blankie of choice. Besides sleeping with it every night at home, I also took it to all sleepover, off to college, and in to my married home. Here we are 23 years later, and I still use it every night. WOW! Who would have thought Red Heart Yarn could hold up so well?
4. I have always loved music. I wanted so badly to learn to play the piano. I took lessons on and off for a few years when I was about 8 years old. I just could not get a hang of it. I wasn't enjoying it like I thought I would, so I gave up. In fifth grade, I took on the Saxophone and LOVED IT! I played it for four years, then too many high school activities got in the way and I had to quit. I wish I hadn't because I haven't touched a saxophone in over 15 years, and I have since forgotten everything I learned. I am currently instrument ignorant, and that is sad. Oh...wait....I can totally rock the Kazoo.
5. As a child, I loved to swing. It had to be one of my very favorite past times. I remember swinging as high as I could, and feeling the wind on my face. I could swing the entire recess away. It saddens me to admit that I get motion sickness when I swing for longer than a minute these days. How can this be? What has changed? Why does it make me so sick now? I can't even do two rounds of "ring around the rosey" either......Sugar Bear is NOT impressed with mama's weak tummy.
6. I have the worst handwriting of all the women I know. It is seriously the ugliest, most nasty handwriting there is. It has embarrassed me for as long as I can remember. It is only getting worse with my lack of using it. I type nearly everything these days, and the other day, it took me three tries to write a legible check to repay a friend. Seriously, I am the QUEEN of "You Don't Use It....You'll Lose It" land.
Wow....that is always so much more work than I think it will be, so I chose not to tag anyone. If you are reading this and want to give it a try please do. :)
~Lastly, I just want to announce that I tend to post my Saturday Photo Hunters early in the day on Friday. Yes, I know it seems strange, but the Photo Hunt has participants from all around the world, and they have Saturday well be I do, so if I want them to view my entry, I need to have it up on Friday. Now I know I didn't NEED to explain this...but I didn't want anyone to think, I can't keep track of what day it is. wink wink...I may be losing it...but it isn't gone yet!
Have a great weekend. Thank you for all the fun comments this past week. Your rock! and yes...I mean YOU!

Seven Songs
My friend Lori tagged me to post about seven songs I am currently singing. Interesting....what am I singing these days? As pooh would say, "think....think....think..."
As I have discussed in the past, I don't really sing well....but I really like to sing. So much so, that I purchased a nice karaoke system for me home. I like to sing in the privacy of my own home, but I have been known to belt it out in public. So far...no karaoke bar, but the company winter celebration is game. :) Nothing like singing in front of 100 sober co-workers to build up some rapport. They quickly learn to admire my OTHER skills. :)
So for this here tag, I choose to NOT post about seven songs I am currently singing, but to admit to seven songs I LOVE to karaoke. I like to sing a variety...always keep them guessing. I am all about mystery.
1. The Thong Song- Sisqo
2. If I Could Turn Back time- Cher
3. Jump, Jive and Wail-Brian Setzer Orchestra
4. Great Balls of Fire-Jerry Lee Lewis
5. You Outta Know- Alanis Morrissette
6. Get Here- Oleta Adams
7. Don't know why- Norah Jones
So there you have it....my karaoke repertoire. Try not to be jealous that you aren't a fly on my wall.

What On Earth Would I Do With A Million Dollars?
Believe it or not....I don't tend to sit around wondering such nonsense. Seriously, it would be an utter miracle if this happened. Purely based on the mire fact that I don't play the lottery, don't have rich relatives, nor have a rich, old sugar daddy I won't be rolling in the dough....EVER. However, since I am the type of person to succumb to fun and ridiculous meme's, especially if they make me think or help define a little of who I am, I am humoring Ingrid.
Anyway, the rules are simple:
1- Describe what would you do if you had a million dollars
2- Tag 5 people
3- Reproduce the list of bloggers who have already done this challenge and add your name at the end.
Okay, so I would like to assume that the million is AFTER taxes, because that right there makes it more fun! Even thinking about giving over a third of it to the government makes this particular exercise annoying.
To truly understand my choices you need to know that currently our household is Debt Free Yes, we have ZERO debt. We live in our fully paid off 1500 square foot house that sits on 5 acres. I love it here. I drive a fully paid 2006 vehicle, and hubby has a fully paid 1998 Jeep. We carry no credit card debt either.
So, with those facts, I proceed to spend my money in this manner:
-$50,000 invested for Sugar Bears's education. Hopefully invested well, so that in 16 years it will have accrued some nice interest. My parents did NOT pay for my college education, and I did not qualify for financial aid. I saved all of my money from working summers and I worked while in college. My dad did, however, invest $100 in Gerber stock when I was born and 18 years later I had $5000. I graduated debt free. I feel that I valued my college education much more than my friends who did not have to work for it. I would like for Sugar to shoulder some responsibility for her education.
-250,000ish to build our dream home on the land we already own. We love it here, but a larger newer house would make it perfect. :)
-$40,000 for a newer vehicle for my hubby. He is wanting a new Jeep Rubicon, and I don't remember off hand how much it costs.
-$300,000 invested for our retirement.
-$20,000 to local charities where I can see the difference it makes.
-$30,000 to do some traveling. Ireland, Europe, and somewhere tropical.
-$10,000 to spend on gifts for friends and family whenever I feel like it. I honestly sat here thinking....how much would I give to friends and family. I hate that. Money can really mess up relationships. How to keep it fair? How to decided who gets what? I think it is best to just keep the money out of our relationships. Sure there are some that would hate us for that, but they aren't good friends if that is how they look at it.
-300,000 short term invested so that we could get it out if needed. Yet it isn't meant to be spent carelessly.
-I would quit work, and invest in starting a photography business. I would take classes, and have a studio in my dream house, and practice practice practice. :) If after 2 years, I can not make money at it, I'd find a new job. This way I could be home with Sugar Bear until she starts school.
On a whole, I wouldn't want to blow through it. I would want it to change my life for the REST of my life, not just for a few years. This did surprise me, when I had to really think about how much I would share. I don't tend to feel that I am a greedy person, but I definitely have trouble spending money, and it would bother me to see others spend MY money poorly. I also know just too well, the damage money can do in relationships.
Now if They feel like playing....I tag.

Totally Random
Mama Zen tagged me with the "eight random things about me" MEME. Being the sort of person that hates to disappoint, I will happily oblige. :)
1. I started this list by typing the numbers 1-8 down the side first. Who knows why I needed to do it that way, but I felt so compelled. I suppose I need a guide to make sure I don't miss my mark or something. If you know much about me, you'll figure I'd easily list more than eight since I can't SHUT UP!
2. Two days ago, I told myself that I was DEFINITELY going to get serious about watching what I eat. Today....I watched ice cream go in my body....TWICE!
3. I love to sniff my daughters hair, blanket and clothes. I find myself habitually smelling these things all the time. When she is away at Grandpa and Grandma's house, I sleep with one of her blankets.
4. I only drink two sorts of beverages: water and milk. My main source of fluid is water. I don't always get the recommended amount each day, but I try. I drink at least 8 ozs of skim milk a day also.
5. I find myself turning the TV to Noggin, Disney or Nick JR. even when my daughter isn't home. I miss The Backyardagins if I don't see them at least once a week. tee hee
6. I used to think that I REQUIRED at least 10 hours of sleep to fully function. Who knew that I exist pretty well on 6? However.....I have mommy brain most of the....what?...what was I talking about?
7. I hate to admit it, but I have probably seen every episode of South Park ever made, including the movies. ugh....Hubby loves it, so I have suffered through.
8. I am starting to think that I shouldn't buy anything made in China. However, I am not sure it is possible. Have you noticed that EVERYTHING comes form China?
If you are reading this and want to play along....Go For It! :)

On This Day!
My friend Ingrid tagged me for this meme. Go to Wikipedia and type in your birthday (only the month and day). Choose and write down 3 events, 2 births and 1 holiday. Then tag 5 friends.
Three events that happened on September 14th:
1886 - Typewriter ribbon patented.
1990 - Ken Griffey and his son Ken Jr. become the first father-son duo to hit back-to-back home runs.
2001 - Historic National Prayer Service held at Washington National Cathedral for victims of the September 11 attacks. A similar service is held in Canada on Parliament Hill, the largest vigil ever held in the nation's capital.
Two Birthdays on September 14th:
1879 - Margaret Sanger, American birth control advocate (d. 1966)
1964 - Faith Ford, American actress
One Holiday:
Formerly, in the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches, the Wednesday, Friday and Saturday following 14 September were observed as one of the four sets of Ember days. In the Irish calendar they were known as Quarter tense.
I am chosing NOT to tag anyone, but if you are reading this and feel like participating GO FOR IT, and leave me a comment letting me know! :)

Warm Fuzzy....and snuggly good!
My silly girlfriend Julie tagged me back, but this time with 10 things that make me feel all warm and fuzzy good inside. This is just up my ally. I love to think about the awesome things in life. Thanks Julie!
So here they are in no particular order.
1. Getting an unexpected phone call from a friend whom I haven't spoken with in quite some time.
2. Rocking my sweet girl into a drowsy warm good place each night.
3. Warm soup on a cold day.
4. Laying bed reading a good book.
5. Grilled cheese and tomato soup.
6. Having someone positively comment on something I have made for Sugar Bear to wear.
7. Sharing pictures I have taken.
8. Putting on warm jammies from the dryer.
9. Special kisses from my daughter.
10. Hearing Sugar Bear's sweet voice on the phone when she is off visiting Grandma and Papa.
I tried to not have too many of them include Sugar Bear, but I have a crush on her, so it is hard. tee hee.....

7 Weird things about ME!
My dear friend, and neighbor, Heidi (everyday cookies), TAGGED ME with the "7 weird things about you" tag. So I get the opportunity to share my weirdness with all of you....and I get to tag 7 fellow bloggers! Since I don't know very many bloggers, and most of them know each other, I am just going to pick 5 :)
The following people should consider themselves TAGGED:
Keara
Shannon
Meghan
Julie
Mandy
Now...on to discussing things that make me weird. :)
1. I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive behavior, such as randomly pulling hair out of my head.....I CAN'T STOP! I conquered the obsessive foot rubbing I used to do though. :) That's a good thing!
2. I absolutely LOVE peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. I always have since I can remember. YUM!!!!
3. I am neither a night owl nor a morning person....and afternoons really aren't my best either. I think I consider myself a even keeled person. I am at my best all day, or at least as good as it gets! tee hee
4. I worry....and I drive people nuts with it. I worry about things that most people don't even have a second thought about...but the BIG BIG things, like my DH fishing on a commercial fishing boat in ALASKA, I just don't worry. I suppose after 16 years of him doing this job, I just can't worry about it, or I wouldn't survive. I just have faith that he will be fine. However, I lose sleep over the fact that I don't think Tom Cruise is treating Katie Holmes and their child fairly. LOL
5. I have a really odd obsession with collecting Cookbooks, but I rarely, and I do mean rarely try new recipes. I just simply LOVE to read them. Makes me all happy and hungry!
6. I have a severe fear of spending money. If anything costs over $40, I have to somehow justify it, ask for it as a present, or fret over it for days before I can buy it. I can afford it....but I need to feel like I deserve it, or that I somehow earned it. ugh....It is disabling at times.
7. This weekend, when my daughter was a Grandma's house, I found myself wanting to watch the Disney channel or Noggin. I really do love kid shows. LOL Here I sat watching The Backyardagins....alone! tee hee
You know what? I am pretty sure that I am really really weird. I find myself saying it allllll the time, but oddly enough I had a hard time figuring out what to write here. Isn't that weird? Honestly one of my most common statements is, "I know....I know....I'm weird!" I think I say it at least twice a week.
Now I am going to lose sleep tonight worrying about what you think of my strange hair pulling behavior! ha ha.....I know....I am weird!
