Photostory Friday~ Harvest Fun Part Two

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Last week sometime, I shared some photos of Sugar Bear at the Pumpkin Patch. We left off with a VERY satisfied Sugar bear riding a train with her grandma! Next, she decided to take her turn at trying on the role of firewoman. I'd let her save me anyday. How about you?

Then, she has a brief turn in the Giant Pumpkin. She jumped and jumped for a few minutes until she crashed into another child, and decided it wasn't all that fun after all.

It was cute while it lasted!

Then we took our turn riding in the Pumpkin carriage. I somehow managed NOT to get a shot of it this year, but if you look at last year's photos, you can see it a bit. It reminds me of Cinderella. Sugar really loved sharing her carriage ride with Grandma this year. She really chit chatted Grandma up the entire ride.

Next we headed over to the "carnival games" section of the patch. Sugar had her turn at the bean bag toss first. She rocked it!

Face painting was next. She chose a butterfly in colors to match her shirt.

This was the third time Sugar has had face painting done, and the second time for it to relax her nearly to the point of falling asleep. It is hilarious to watch her eyes start to drop and her body relax. I figure the soft stroking of the brush must be very soothing.

It only took mention of the "lollipop forrest" to wake that girl right up. Here she is making Mama a tad nervoud peeking over the edge of the bridge.

Choosing a lollipop.

Giving mama the "look" when asked to use her walking feet while eating her lollipop.

She then gave a wing at the ring toss. This proved to be a tad bit more difficult for her.

But the Duck Pond rocked.

Lastly, Sugar insisted on riding the Troll Train "all by myself, please!" She was so darn proud of being a big girl. She sat there and waved at anyone and everyone the entire time.

And her smile nearly melted all the hearts within a 1000 foot radius.

Sigh....Life is good!

So cute!! What a fun place! I cannot get Baby Blue to sit for face painting yet... the feel of paint on her face is just too much for her I guess. Maybe as she gets bigger.

SB is just so precious and adorable in these photos!

She takes the most adorable pictures. :) I can't believe the number of activities there for her to do. What a wonderful trip. Although I have to admit the lollipop forest is a really neat idea. Never heard of that one.

As always very colorful photos of Sugar Bear enjoying another outting with Mama! Looks like a lot of fun. I had to laugh about you being nervous on the bridge...my 2-year old Lucas would have given you a heart attack! He would have been swinging on the rope (boys are wild like that!). :) I'd get out and take some photos of something fun today, but it's -15 and feels pretty good in the house!

The face painting making her sleepy cracked me up! I get like that all the time...even at the dentist or getting my eyebrows done!

So, have I ever mentioned how great your photos are? They are outstanding in every aspect! I could browse your site all day.
That shot of her falling asleep, while having her face painted, is a beautifully captured moment.
Nicely done!

I don't think I have ever noticed how cute and long her little pigtails are getting! In the last year of reading your blog, you really can see her growing up!

Now you know how to get her to sleep if needed. Just break out the face paint!
