Photohunters~ Rocks

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

It has been awhile since I have played along with the Photo Hunters. I suppose I just needed a bit of a break. I was please, however, to see the theme this week, as I have some beautiful photos to share from a recent outing with my girls.

While out and about we stumbled upon this great piece of art.

The beautiful swirl is made up of polished ROCKS, and the occasional fun babble. We spent much time admiring this amazing piece. Sugar Bear loved finding the hidden treasures.

I was taken with the thought and care that went into this huge work of art.

There was just so much to study, and explore. The great slab of cement encasing the ROCKS soaked up the suns heat, and was a much appreciated warm place to sit.

I couldn't help getting a closer look.

Each stone led us to something new. It truly is a masterpiece.

The best part.......

Whether you were 4, 20 or 34.....years of age.....there was something there to appreciate....to admire....to enjoy. What a gift.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Corey
That is too cool. I have always wanted to do that. I told my husband I would love to so that on the flower beds I think it would be really cool in a garden. Cool cool cool :) limited vocabulary calls for sleep.
I think I'm ready to go get some sleep. Have an awesome weekend.

Corey it's good to see you back in action. As usual your captures never fail to amaze me.
Those rocks are awesome, I can imagine the hard work of the workers/artists placing each individual pieces on the ground artistically :)

I have to AGREE with you - that project is a total labor of love and art, rolled up in one! My daughter owns a salon and has the same 'idea' in the entrance with pieces of pottery, china and bobbles - I am intrigued with it every time I walk in the door.

My favorite is the lady bug and sun - but, it's ALL beautiful and amazing. Oh, and I DO LOVE the fish on the railing! Thanks for sharing.

One of the things I love about you the most, Corey, is that you always take the time to stop and smell the flowers. Or, admire the stonework. :o) Such a lovely piece of art!
