Photo Hunters~ Bridge

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This weekend's theme is BRIDGE. The first thing that came to mind is the BRIDGE of a guitar. It seems odd that it was the first thing, being that I love actual road BRIDGES, and have MANY photos of theme, but if I'm honest, I have to admit that the guitar popped into my mind first. So I quickly took a few Snaps and here we have my BRIDGE.

This guitar happens to be an old Yamaha acoustic guitar that my husband had in his closet at his parents house. My MIL brought it to me shortly after Christmas. You see, I purchased a small acoustic guitar for Sugar Bear this Christmas in hopes that I could possible learn a bit about it and teach Sugar. She loves instruments, and I am forever encouraging her to explore the music world.

The only problem is...my fingers are a bit big for Sugar's small guitar, so it has been difficult. My MIL remembered the old guitar in Hubby's closet and brought it my way. Learning is slow going, but I hope that someday, I'll have the hang of it, and can help Sugar learn as well.

Have a Great Weekend everyone, and I look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing some really spectacular BRIDGES!

I had a lesson on the double bass and there was a mention of the bridge. Creative idea.

You get the prize for most creative take! And thanks for telling me something I never knew before (though with my husband being a guitar player you'd think I'd know about it)

Oh I like playing guitar and sing very nice choice dear. Happy weekend.

I've been toying with the idea of learning the guitar. Are you teaching yourself? If so, what are you using and do you like it?

Great bridge shots!

A different take of the word "bridge" which comes complete with cool pics and an interesting story. :)

Great interpretation -- I never would have thought of this! My husband and middle son like to play around with the guitar but neither is proficient. I think it is great to encourage people to try to play an instrument.

What a nifty take on this week's theme ... I love it! I shared more 'traditional bridges' at both Sacred Ruminations and Happily Retired Gal this weekend.
