Prayers needed for Princess G!

I have blogged several times about Princess Gabriella Vega. She is a 5 year old little girl who has been awaiting a Heart Transplant. It has been a journey that hasn't been free of strife. You are likely to remember the stroke she had last September.

She has officially been on the Transplant list for 97 days, and TODAY received the call that a heart is ready for her. As I type this she has likely landed in Loma Linda CA, and is prepping for surgery. My thoughts are with her and her family at this time. Much prayer is needed for a successful surgery, and a smooth recovery.

It is important, at this time, to also send prayers and good thoughts towards the family of the heart donor. It must be a terribly grief filled time for them, and we do not want to forget that this gift of a heart is not without a price.
If you are the praying kind, please keep this situation in mind.

You can follow Gabriella's journey towards her Sparkly New Heart over at Gabriella's Heart.

I will be praying for her as she undergoes the transplant as well as the family that gave her such a precious gift.
