Blueberry Pickin'!

We met some friends up at the blueberry farm the other day. It was our first time officially pickin' blueberries at a farm. Grandma and grandpa have a few bushes, but nothing like this place. WOW! It was so beautiful.

Our friends are fabulous company......and not too shabby to look at, so you know I took a few pictures. Isn't this little honey adorable?

Her mama is pretty special, too!

Look at these pretty!

Sugar was in blueberry heaven! She found tons of "dandies!"

I couldn't stop snapping shots of this cutie....her shirt and hat were just to die for against all the green.

Both little girls were fabulous pickers. They enjoyed finding the biggest and the best blueberries.

However, it didn't take too long to get a little HOT.

but ooooo....oooo.... the eatin' was GOOD!

and the bounty was plentiful! ♥

Those look like blueberry trees rather than bushes!! Our wild blueberries are just short bushes and the berries are smaller than what you find in the states, but our taste is out-of-this-world. The big blueberries I can buy in the store are bland...our wild ones are more on the sour side. Now I want to go berry picking! That's quite an interesting outting you shared with us.
